Many of our clients would say that their email is just as, if not more, important than their website. We've all experienced life without it, and usually not by choice. Email is an essential business tool for any organization and is required as mandated by current business practices worldwide today. In order for you to represent your small business, non-profit organization, or church more professionally, LuckyDog Digital gives you the ability to manage your own mailboxes and webmail over the internet for your domain(s).
Email Support
Before you can receive email at any email address (yourname@yourwebsite.com) you first need to login to the Email Administration site and add all necessary mailboxes, whether it/they be for you alone, your executive department, or your entire organization. To setup the mailboxes use the Email Administration section below.

Interacting With The Mail Server
Once you've created your mailboxes, your users have 2 ways of interacting with their email. The first way is via a locally installed mail client such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, Eudora, Mac Mail, or any other mail client of their choice. If they choose to use a mail client they will require this information below in order to setup the accounts on their computer.

Incoming and Outgoing Mailserver Address: mail.YourDomain.com
Username: YourFullAddress@YourDomain.com
Password: YourPassword
Alternative SMTP Port: 50
Outgoing Server Requires Authentication: Yes (and just use/supply the same login information for mail retrieval).
WebMail Information
The second way is via our webmail system. With this method of mail server interaction they can send & receive email from anywhere in the world, at anytime, from any computer, over the Internet from within a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari, or any other standard web browser application. If they choose to use webmail they will need the information below to login to the webmail system.

Additional Information
Your mail server supports POP3, IMAP, HTTPMail, and basic SMTP. We also use an alternate SMTP port of 50 in case your ISP has port 25 restrictions in place.
